Miss Europe - Junior® is the official name of the international contest in beauty and communication skills for girls between 15 - 20 years of age. The aim of the contest is to unify contests for the women´s lowest age group. Our experience from this event and interest of cooperators from all over Europe have demonstrated the viability of the project (from 6 countries in 2000 to 24 countries in 2005). The wide variety of disciplines (interesting presentations, boardwalks, mobile communication via the Internet), in accordance with possible future hosting of the contest´s finals in various European countries, demonstrates the ability to address youth throughout the world. Our contest is not a copy of contests in which the decisive parametres are measurements, heights and weights, but also includes communication skills, sense of humour and natural girlish charm.
After good experiences with the organizing of this contest, the Czech Republic will be again the host of final part of the international beauty contest for girls between 15-20 years of age, not only from Europe but also from non-European countries in open category. This year we are expecting the participation of the finalists coming from 30 countries from all over the world.
The international contest will be officially opened after finalists´ arrival to the Czech Republic by their introduction and press conference being held in Prague 4th Octobre 2007. All participants will be wellcomed by Mayor of the Capital City of Prague. Consequently the girls will take participation at international workshop in Bulgaria with TV shooting and Miss Talent selection. After their return to the Czech Republic, they will take place in preliminary programme in Ostrava, where many of promotion actions and TV pre-shooting will be prepared. The whole project will culminate by the Galaevening Miss Europe – Junior® Open 2007 finale being prepared on 20th October 2007 in ČEZ ARÉNA in Ostrava.
